It’s all well and good until they kill it (see Nest devices, Hangouts, Stadia…there’s hundreds)
Not to mention that, since they have so much control over everything (Chrome, Google Search, gmail, g suite, google drive, android, youtube, google play, google ads, google dns, etc. like holy they have EVERYTHING) they are almost guaranteed to have a scarily comprehensive data profile of every person who has ever touched the internet. Of course, being a company, they’re selling that data for profit. Not very nice of them at all. Hence why many people are attempting to degoogle…
The xperia 10 vii has a 6.1” screen I think, and has a side fingerprint scanner too. Sony also has decent software support with their newer phones, and you get both a microSD card slot and a headphone jack.
I would definitely go for the Pixel 10 as it’s got mostly everything the S25 has (excluding the Snapdragon chip, but the Tensor G5 is fine for most people and you don’t mind much about gaming). The Pixel has a larger 4970 mAh battery (the S25 only has a 4000 mAh battery), but the Pixel’s Tensor chip is a bit less efficient, so it’s probably only a slight increase.
The Pixel 10 and S25 both have triple camera setups, with the Pixel having a 5x telephoto rather than a 3x. Both will have excellent image quality, though I personally prefer the Pixel’s shots more.
I’ll also say that picking a Pixel will likely mean better support for custom ROMs in the future (including. GrapheneOS) which could extend the life of your phone.
One other thing of note, Google has added Qi2 wireless charging with proper magnets, so any MagSafe accessories that work with iPhone 12 and up will also work with the Pixel 10!
I would say probably the FP6 if you care about sustainability, fair materials and working conditions, etc. It also seems to be a solid phone with decent cameras and performance, though with a higher price than phones with equivalent specs due to the first point. The FP cameras have improved a lot since the 3, they seem very usable in the few reviews I’ve seen.
I will say that, since you care about both battery life and camera quality, you might want to check out the Xiaomi 15 if it’s available at a good price. I’m certain Xiaomi doesn’t have the fair working conditions and materials like FP does, and they definitely don’t aim to make their phones ultra-repairable.

Should I install LineageOS 19 or the newer 21? Is 21 less stable or something?
Don’t think any alternatives exist unfortunately. You could either go with a phone mount of, if you want a bigger screen, a big Android tablet. Then you bypass the infotainment screen entirely and you can run whatever app you want (that is safe to do so while driving - don’t watch YouTube videos while driving!)
