It’s more likely that auto manufacturers put the oldest shittest slowest chips in cars that crash constantly because they can’t handle any load at all.

SMS is just old fashioned and outdated around the time we stopped using flipphones and T9
I know more normies on signal than I have online friends, so it’s just subjective
It’s functionally the same as WhatsApp, without the Facebook bullshit. It’s not some weird utilitarian program to “hate” 😂
I use it to speak to all my friends and family.
Oh, everyone I know uses it so that didn’t really hit the mark.
What do you mean? You can group call
Ah I see! Neat! I’ll have a look into it.
Not unreal engine?
(I honestly have no clue, they’re the only two I’ve used)
Just try different options till you find one you like. I find it much more accurate than a joystick.
It’s the steam controller
Steam controller
The steam controller is fucking fantastic. No other controller lets you play mouse based games the same way. With its trackpads and gyro aiming you can be way more accurate than a normal controller. If you’re using it expecting it to be just a variety of a traditional console controller, you’re in for a bad time.
The steam controller is more personal, you can remap any button to be anything, and any modifier to enable on any button press. (Like turn on gyro aim when you hold R2) there’s a ton of aiming options, you can use the trackpads to create circular menus for weapon or skill selections… the possibilities are endless.
But instead people just bought it, and thought ‘this not as comfy as xbox, why only one joystick, why no dpad’ and put it down again.
People had the chance for better but it meant learning something new.
Yeah I pretty much completed factorio on the steamdeck, with some pc play over cloud sync. Had a really good experience. The right touchpad is just a mouse, and you can bind any button to any key! (Including shift etc, so you can have endless combinations!)
I started off using one of the most popular steamdeck community layouts, and then customised it to make my own (drekly’s layout should be on there somewhere!)
Furthermore, I logged in recently to see there are new controller settings, so I think they may have patched the switch style controller options over to the pc version, with specific steamdeck controls. I’m so far in I’ve stuck with my mouse+kB layout though!
Reading it and agreeing as I sit here super tired because I suck at mornings and was up at 3am, sipping my cortado made with my Lelit Bianca and freshly ground square mile coffee from my EG-1…
YOU DONT KNOW ME
It’s not the same game at all, but crying suns is similar and on android and I’m really enjoying it!
That’s an absolutely understandable point of view.
I’m just disappointed in the people who seem to think they deserve everything for free.
Of course you can use free apps, that’s fine! It’s great to have options.
Personally I enjoy the experience of using sync compared to the other apps on my phone (my own activity within Lemmy has spiked since it’s release!) And for that reason I’m happy to support its development.
I don’t want the OLED version. But I do want the limited edition OLED version. Please bring it to the UK!
