For added entertainment, they sometimes Don’t Get It and what they say is “subtle” is, in fact, right in your face.

e.g. they say Monster Hunter Wilds is “subtly pro-climate action” which is like saying a tungsten cube is “slightly hefty” or Life Is Strange is “a little bit gay”

    I considered joining the discussion on Steam with a big “Thank you for giving me all these woke games to play” post. But then I saw that you can only post if you join the Steam group.

    I do not want that stain on my steam profile, so I did not do it.

    If anyone else is already part of that group, please feel free to troll the shit out of them 😁

      Better to just be silent and use the list as a recommendation. If they got aware of us using the list for recommends to buy, they’d lock it or whatever.

      Always check though if it’s really “woke” or just something they don’t like that’s not per se gay/cool. If the makers themselves are indeed queer, chances are it’s what we would consider cool.

      I thought about joining and trolling the shit out of them. I would point every game to make it woke.

      If Counter Strike Go is woke because:

      Contains overtly pro-DEI messaging. Features multiple female agent skins, including a female Navy Seal and female SWAT officers. Vypa is more muscular than most male operators.

      Then Command & Conquer Red Alert 3 which is not woke should be woke because: the Soviets have both woman commander and a woman special forces sniper, the Allied Nations have woman special forces, two women commanders, and finally the Empire of the Rising Sun has two women commanders and a woman special forces soldier.

      I would’ve started with the easy ones before moving onto truly absurd ones. Bejeweled? Woke. Solitaire? Woke.

          I went through the entire Space Marine 2 review thread. It was fucking glorious. The fighting between what is and what is considered woke. There’s the 40k lore purists arguing with the woke purists. There was the bigoted 40k lore fan who totally missed the point that 40k is supposed to be satire.

          The most bizarre part was applying the concept that in real life women special forces are rare to a fictional world that check notes set 40,000 years in the future with a literal demons, a God Emperor the consumes souls, and space magic.
