Automobilista 2 is 'great on deck’s but I can’t even get it to open. The steam loading thing appears then takes me right back to menu. If you have a fix please let me know. I’m updated to stable. And tried restarting.
Dead space (2008) wasn’t working either for the last week, but now suddenly does? What changed? Is steam OS that fragile that games should be going in and out of playable on stable?
Try changing the proton settings under compatibility. Also check protonDB.Com
Reboot if you haven’t. And try changing your proton version as someone else said. You can swap proton versions for a specific game by opening game properties in steam, going to the compatibility tab, hit force compatibility tool, and picking a different proton version.
Im having this same issue with Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Its totally random which game it afflicts.
Sometimes I find that if something that happens then to head over to desktop mode and there are some updates that will help.
