SHE IS TOO PRETTY TO BE A STRAY
Yeah I really want to take her in. She sleeps on my porch all day.
Keep working on it until you can coax her into either stepping inside or into an easily enclosable space, then to vet for a chip scan.
Best case scenario is that she belongs to someone who misses their baby girl.
Second best case is no chip or previous owner super-sucks and therefore - you get a new buddy.
We invited an abandoned gray girl in for wet food one day and she never left. Starting on her first night, she’d wake me up in the wee hours giving me tiny kisses on my eyelids, cheeks, forehead, or tip of my nose. We still have her 12 years later and she is the sweetest cat ever. Don’t fuck with her though - she will cut you 🤣

I don’t know if she’s owned. She never leaves my porch and the bushes next to it. She’s dirty and has fleas. You can’t see it well in these pictures
If that’s where she lives, then she’s been abandoned. Those are the best little friends. When they’ve had a home and lost it, they appreciate their new home so much, they’ll show their gratitude every day.
Get her checked for a microchip, and if she’s clear, take her in. You won’t be sorry.
Yeah I feel like she was abandoned. She showed up about 9 months ago. We have a lot of college students that just abandon pets when they leave. I’ve found a hamster and a ferret on separate occasions as well.
It took me 2 months to get this cat to let me pet her. She’s almost came inside but she saw my dog and son and said nope.
Keep trying. Introduce the others slowly. If she won’t come in, give her a nice house outside where she can escape from bad weather and scary creatures. An upside down Rubbermaid container makes a good start.
I will keep up the good fight. I’ve been looking into outside cat boxes lately because it gets cold here.
Then it clearly isn’t somebody else’s cat and it is good on you to take care of her. Seriously, people here all butthurt because I’m pointing out that it is not a good idea to feed other people’s pets. And even insulting me, such entitled pricks.
When the cat is not malnurished and in good health then don’t feed it. You don’t know of allergies or other causes for special food. It is natural for cats to eat mice and birds, but eating other things like tuna can do damage.
I don’t see any reason to insult you.
Others did. You on the other hand seem reasonable.

The cat may have special needs, like a specialized diet if said cat is diabetic.
What looks like a good act may as well end up killing the cat.Always check first.
A voice of reason, kudos.

Look at that happy to see you periscope tail
She looks majestic with the green grass and lion pose
Oh yeah, that’s a certifiable lil baby.
How many tallboys do you feed her?
About tree fiddy, and then she helps me work on my car.
Listen nobody wants to admit they are 9 cans of ravioli flavored cat food.
What a sweety. If she lets you take her inside, adopt her (after checking for a chip of course)
