- Like 1 hour after the launch, there was a torrent on 1337x, it was fun watching people debate if it was malware or not. Even a mod got in the debate. But good to know there are repacks now, totally not going to download hehehe - deleted by creator

- FitGirl has also had it on their todo list since the crack showed up on 1337x

- Holy shit that was fast, good lord.
- No DRM on release? - Nope. Someone in my steam family bought it so I just downloaded and cracked it then shared the crack. So now everyone can play at once lol.

- Downloaded it as soon as it was online
- Can someone assist on how to obtain a magnet link for a torrent on DODI? I’m interested in downloading it through Premiumize if possible. - There’s one in 1337x or on his website

- The whole From 104GB thing just tells me to stick with the original. Any game more than 20GB and it ain’t being installed on anything I own. - Either way, no surprise considering how big of a game this is, even if it is a remaster of a beloved classic so old that children have grown up only knowing every version of Skyrim released on everything from consoles to your mom’s smart vibrator. - Any game more than 20GB and it ain’t being installed on anything I own. - It’s the year 1998. I don’t understand why half life is a whopping 300MB compared to dooms 15MB. 🤣
- The year is 2025 where rules like this are brutally effective slop filters.

- That’s just not how textures work though lol - If they’re being that picky, it’s because their PC definitely can’t handle it lol - 💯

- Nor models. - And oh look, those make up everything that isn’t music or UI!

- Skill issue - Originality issue.

- Staying with the original also for the performance reasons: UE5 makes it really hungry for resources, while original runs smooth and makes my computer not even turn on active cooling. - Old game runs needs less powerful hardware than new game - Good lord, did you figure that out all by yourself‽ - /s- deleted by creator
- We are talking old game remake lol - Yeah well, a remake means they made the game again. It’s a new game, with the same content. That does mean it runs a new engine, and has modern-sized textures and models. - Perhaps they could optimise the game a bit more, I’ve always thought an installer that let’s you choose wether to install the downsized 1080p assets or the full-size 4k assets would’ve been nice to have but alas. - Yeah, having ability to make installation medium smaller by stripping away unused hi-res textures would be a really nice product feature. - I just a bit skeptical with having an old game requiring exponential increase hardware requirements with improvements limited just for some visuals. On the other hand, it could be WarCraft 3: Reforged situation, so, I guess now it is more of a “there is always space for improvement” situation. - I swear some game had high res textures optional on Steam. Maybe Witcher 3? - Don’t know if it is fully optional, but Star Craft 2 installs on low res first, allowing you to boot the game in low res before the full install has completed.
