OnePlus 13 is coming with a 6,000 mAh battery, the company confirmed in its latest teaser. This will be the brand’s first flagship with such a battery capacity and is over 10% more than what the predecessor had.

We also learned that it will keep the 100W SuperVOOC wired charging, but the 50W wireless charging will work with a magnetic attachment.

The new phone will arrive on October 31, and we’ll also see some power accessories on stage – a magnetic power bank with 5,000 mAh capacity, a wireless charger with a cooling fan, a 100W SuperVOOC power bank, and a brand new 120W GaN adapter.

The OnePlus 13 will get a line of official cases that old-school brand fans will love. We are looking at two wooden options and a sandstone variant. It seems like OnePlus will also launch a branded cup for beverages for its really hardcore fans.

The launch of the phone is in three days, and so far, we learned it will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, up to 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. Camera-wise, there is a revamped setup with a 50 MP multi-prism telephoto shooter while sticking to a familiar design.

My 6t was the best Android i ever had. I still havent found a smartphone with a better camera than that one (including modern iPhones and Pixels).

Too bad about the Oppo merger ruining a lot of what made Oneplus good. The lack of support for loading alternative roms was the final straw for me. I dont want to be chained to the very short device lifespan the manufacturer supports.

I still use my 6T and still love it, but hearing that it’s the best you’ve owned doesn’t fill me with confidence about an upgrade!

That said I don’t think the camera is amazing, the photos from my wifes and friends iPhones look way better.

I’ve mainly used an iPhone 13 and a Pixel 7 pro for comparison, but both have consistently worse cameras than the 6T.

I mostly take close-up photos of plants for iNaturalist, and with both the iPhone and the Pixel i have a very hard time getting it to focus on the right spot long enough to get a good photo. The 6T is much better at maintaining the correct focus IME than either newer phone

It’s implied. How else would the magnetic part work? I can’t comment on magsafe but it should be Qi2. Unless, they didn’t certify and made a proprietary implementation just for oneplus 13 series smartphones.
