I was just wondering the connection between flatpaks and the terminal because I’ve never heard of flatpaks before and Wikipedia says they’re a sandboxed package management system or something?

I was gonna say, I haven’t heard of any rewrites yet, and it is probably GDPR or some similar regulatory compliance.

Linux folks used to be much worse about gatekeeping, but even 20+ years ago when I was first starting out, there were always decent folks among the techie dumbfucks.

Is that weird? I would assume snakes wouldn’t want to eat a frozen mouse.
